Do you make your own Ellepots - I understand that the machine costs around $200k?
What media do you use in them?

Doug,
We do make our own elles and the machine is very expensive.
We use Pindstrup media for our elles. Straight peat, no perlite.

Granted if you buy the biggest machine … it will be expensive, at least upfront!
The machines start at approx usd 24000,-
Do your calculation … if you can say yes to the following points …
1. Buy in more than 2 million 105 cells of bigger
2. Plan to stay in business the next 3 years
…. then you are paying for a machine somewhere
I say it might as well be your own macine you are paying for!
Most medias will run fine in the Ellepot machines
